Motorsports Alley - The Heart of Racing

viper_vtThe area of Virginia known as Motorsports Alley is not only steeped in the history and traditions of racing, but is also at the forefront of Motorsports R&D and the business of Motorsports.

Our tracks cover the gamut of motorsports, including:

  • the only track which has hosted NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races every year since the division’s inception in 1949 - Martinsville Speedway;
  • the best NASCAR sanctioned short track racing in the country, and the training ground for many of yesterday's and today's top NASCAR drivers - South Boston Speedway
  • world class road racing at America's first true "motorsports resort" - VIRginia International Raceway;
  • a full season of AMA Pro Motocross racing and Extreme Dirt Track - Birch Creek Motorsports Park.
